About The Author
Hello! My name is Darshan Kalola and I am a software engineer, medical student, and author interested in healthcare technology.
I started college at TCNJ as a Biology major in the 7-year accelerated BS/MD program. My second semester, I thought I'd take a CS course for fun. I loved it so much that I switched my major (but stayed pre-med).
While at TCNJ, I was fortunate enough to intern at Google, YouTube, and Memorial Sloan Kettering as a software engineer.
During my first two years of medical school, I published a book of essays called The Digital Dilemma. Reach out to me if you'd like an author copy!
I took a gap year after my third year in medical school (because medical training isn't long enough) to get a Master's of Public Health at Harvard.
Currently, I'm a rising fourth-year at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School.
